Hello there everyone and welcome to a random Sunday post. I hope your weekend went well as we prepare for classes to begin this Thursday. I've decided to do this post on shows you should watch that are available on Netflix. If you do not have a Netflix account then get your friend's password or simply sign up because it is not that expensive. 

 First, here is Lux today. She is upset because I have not really been home a lot this weekend. In fact, she was so mad that she caught a bat, yes a real bat, and brought it into my room. So nice of her..

 A little tip I want to mention is that if you are looking for a show to watch on Netflix and cannot seem to find anything, you can download Hola which is a Firefox browser add-on that allows you to change your location to a different country and unblock thousands of new titles not available in the United States. You're welcome.

 

 I randomly stumbled upon How I Met Your Mother while browsing Netflix one day for something new to watch and was instantly hooked. The show is about a crazy close group of friends and their adventures in Manhattan. Plus there are many, many episodes that you can binge watch and keep you busy all weekend. Unfortunately the last season is not available so you will have to find it elsewhere. 

 

I absolutely love watching House of Cards, a Netflix original series which depicts the life of an American politician who does not exactly follow the law. Kevin Spacey does a fantastic job in this show and I definitely think you should give it a shot. It is also nice that since this is a Netflix Original Series, they will upload an entire season at once so you can watch all you want!

 

Have you ever loved a show so much that you just never wanted it to end. Breaking Bad is one of the best shows I have ever watched and all five seasons are available on Netflix for you to enjoy. The story line follows a chemistry professor named Walter White and his adventure into the meth business. Watch it.

 

If you are looking for a new comedy to watch and have not watched It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia then you definitely need to check it out. The story line follows a group of friends that own and operate a really run down Irish pub and their adventures as business partners. Plus there are tons of episodes available to keep you busy! 

 

There is nothing better then watching Benedict Cumberbatch and Martin Freeman work together as Sherlock and Watson in this BBC series Sherlock. Unfortunately there are only about three episodes per season and only three seasons available so make sure you watch them slowly. 

 

If you are looking for yet another comedy series because you are awesome and have already seen It's always Sunny in Philadelphia, then you definitely need to watch Parks and Recreation. The story line follows the Parks and Recreation department of a town called Pawnee and the funny adventures of all the employees. 

 

Have you ever wanted to watch a show that was super weird and you were not always sure what was happening because it was just really off the wall? Well then you need to watch American Horror Story. What is interesting about this series is that they use the same actors every season but the story line is different. For instance the first season was focused around a house that was haunted while the season after that was an insane asylum.

Anyways there is my short list of shows to get you started on an awesome binge watching Netflix filled night and if you have already seen all of these then you are awesome. Next time I do a Netflix post I will share with you my favorite documentaries, and yes I promise they are fun to watch.

 

Shower Thoughts:

Now when you begin a fun night of hanging out with your friends, you need to make sure to create a rule that no one is allowed to bring up any information that is going to upset you while you are intoxicated. For instance, any information that you have to start with the phrase, "Please do not get mad", does not need to be shared while everyone is drinking. You are going to upset that person who was having a great time, causing them to get mad at you and ruin both of your nights. Do not be this person.

I only selected this shop because they boast that they are the original creators of these earrings. This pair is rather pricey so shop around and I bet you can find them cheaper.

I searched around a little bit to find this item for a lower price. I highly recommend  to everyone who has not watched Game of Thrones to do so because it is really a great show if you can look past all the sex, foul language, gore, and other scenes that might offend you. Really though, I want this necklace.

 Now this necklace is definitely something you could make yourself with a simple trip to Michaels craft store. I really love how the one half of the feather appears to be dipped in gold. This item is rather pricey so like I said, get on over to your local craft store and buy a fake feather, some gold chain, and gold or silver paint.

Now I really like this watercolor painting and I realize it is not an original painting but the style of the peacock is really nice. In fact, if I were to get another tattoo I would definitely pick this depiction of a peacock to place on my side.

How adorable is this little terrarium that you can place almost anywhere in your house for guest to enjoy. This shop has many different terrariums to choose from but I love this one simply because of the cute little fox that inhabits the space. Plus the size of the bowl is rather large so the price does not seem to be too bad.

I could not care less or I could care less

I was just having this debate with a few friends tonight so make sure you know the difference people. The correct form of this saying is, "I could not care less" because you are saying you did not care at all in the first place. To say that you, "could care less" means you were interested in the first place. You're welcome.

Hello there everyone and welcome to a wonderful Tuesday post! I hope your Monday went well as we continue through the work week. Sadly as many of you have heard Robin Williams passed away yesterday which adds another unfortunate celebrity death to 2014 following Philip Seymour Hoffman.

 Over time I have collected quite a large collection of quotes, a few of which I thought you all might like so I will share them with you.

 Now if you have not actually seen the movie Blade Runner then shame on you. It is based on the novel, Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep? written by Philip K. Dick and is definitely worth a read and a watch.

Why are some words so awkward compared to other words? Take moist for example, I mean that word is just horrible. Then you throw ointment in there and it becomes moist ointment and you have everyone in the room feeling weird. I mean anytime someone is eating cake and they let you know that you did a good job baking by saying the texture is really moist, try not to feel weird. Someone is eventually going to have to explain this one for me.

Hello and welcome to a random post Monday! I hope you all had a great weekend as we start another week, inching closer to the start of classes. So I want to take a moment to mention that I have been watching How I Met Your Mother which has turned out to be a really great show. It is generally a comedy but sometimes they play on viewer's emotions and you get really sucked into how the characters are feeling like any good show. I enjoy these parts and hope one day to find Lebenslangerschicksalsshatz, or lifelong treasure of destiny.

Now to the point of this post. Have you ever wandered around Amazon.com and found things that are just ridiculous and obviously not a real item for sale or something you would never buy? No you say? Well here you go!

 

How to Avoid Huge Ships for a bargain price of $279.14! It is the comments that really get you on this one, just click on the picture and it will take you to the page. They are hilarious. An example, "Read this book before going on vacation and I couldn't find my cruise liner in the port. Vacation ruined." For those of you thinking this would be the perfect gift, you're wrong.

 

This is another one of my favorites, Uranium Ore. As before the reviews are very informative about this product such as, "I purchased this product 4.47 Billion Years ago and when I opened it today, it was half empty." Some one needs to order this and see if you at least get the container, because I am extremely curious. 

 

So you know what every person needs? A Badonkadonk Land Cruiser/Tank for the great price of $20,000! The comments on this one are too long to post on here but take my word for it, you want to visit this item and read the reviews. A small snippet, "Now that my wife has kicked me out of the house and I'm living in my tank, I have really noticed the need for more ventilation. I haven't showered in six months and it is pretty ripe smelling in there. I'm looking into adding some windows."

 

Now you can get excited because yes, this actually exist. I have heard that it is not the most enjoyable film so if you have seen it or plan on watching it you will have to let me know how it is. 

 

This book is actually quite funny as Maddox does a great job of ruining the creative minds of young children by insulting their art work. If you can get over the language then you should read this one for a good laugh. 

 

 Okay so this is the last thing I will show you for today. The title of this product on Amazon is "Frito Lay Chips - Potato Chips Japanese Seaweed (?? Sushi Seaweed) fried with Rice Bran Oil". That of course sounds like the worst flavor of chip ever and the people who are selling this product are not even sure what flavor these are.

Hello again and welcome to a random day post! I cannot help but laugh a little in this post as I tell you how my co worker and I decided on a new slogan for our department: "If The Minimum Wasn't Enough, Then it Wouldn't Be The Minimum". Pretty great right, I think we are going to have t-shirts made because that is just perfect. In actuality we do work to the best of our ability but sometimes we feel people tend to think we sit around all day. Anyways..

Shower Thought:

Why does leg hair grow so much faster then the hair on your head.

Now this one really makes me angry because I swear if my hair grew as quickly as the hair on my legs then it would be super long by now, which it is not. I'm sure someone knows the scientific explanation for this and I am sure if I really thought about it that I could figure it out. That is not the point. Feel free to comment if you would like to explain. 

Lux is being a little brat today so I do not have any cute picture to share with you guys so here is a Simons cat video to make up for it!

 

 Also in case you were not already aware, apparently there are a few diseases that we need to watch out for because they are popping up everywhere. Listeria in our fruit, Ebola being flown into the United States, and of course the Bubonic plague coming from Africa. Make sure to cover your cough people, not that it will help you much.

 Guess who's back!!!

I just missed my blog and all the fun of posting so I decided to give it another shot. It has been awhile since you have last heard from me. Lets see, I moved back to Arizona which was definitely a change and a difficult transition but I am slowly getting over it.  Don't worry though, Lux came with me so we are both here and ready to share with you! 

 

Although I must warn you, Lux has become a monster and now likes to bring me scary creatures of the night..

 

I did have to get a new job while finishing up my Masters degree so no more bookstore stories, although there were some good ones..

 

But do not fret, there will be some new stories to share!
